Two ways to be televised:

Before your scheduled Duty Day: 

1.Record a short video at home with your child(ren).  Please make it  short, sweet and school appropriate!

  1. Send it to Jacqueline_garcia@roundrockisd.org

3.Include the date that you will report for duty.

4.Jackie will include your video on NFTN for your duty day.

Day of:

1.Report to the STEAM lab by 7:25 with your child(ren).

2.Record your video

3.You will be included on announcements for the following day.

TAG Testing Referral Process window opens November 13 and closes December 8 at 3:00 pm

If your family has made the decision to refer your child for TAG testing in January, please complete the online registration between November 13 and December 8, 2017 at 3:00 pm.

In addition, parents/guardians are required to print the Referral Packet and Permission to Test form . This hard copy must be turned into the BCE office  by Dec. 8, 2017 at 3:00 pm..  

If you do not have online access, please contact one of our BCE TAG Specialists for a paper copy. The paper copy for permission to test and information must also be turned in by December 8, 2017 at 3:00 pm

Mark your calendars for Friday, November 17th, our last school day before the Thanksgiving holiday.

During their grade level Specials time that day, students will meet on the blacktop and trot, waddle or walk – 2 miles for grades 2-5; 1.5 miles for 1st graders; and 1 mile for Kinder (weather permitting!).

Parents, please come out and join the fun! You’re welcome to run with your student, or just be there to cheer them on.

The event is designed mostly as a participatory fun run, though students in grades 2-5 may also compete for top finisher prizes, which include gold/silver/and bronze medals for the top three girls and top three boys in each of these grades, as well as Top 10 and Top 20 finishers ribbons on both the boys and girls sides.

Our Specials Schedule for that day: Please Note, the Kinder and 1st Grade Specials times have been switched for Turkey Trot!

  • 5th Grade: 7:50 – 8:40
  • Kinder 8:40 – 9:25
  • 3rd Grade 9:25 – 10:15
  • 4th Grade 10:15 – 11:05
  • 2nd Grade 12:05 – 12:55
  • 1st Grade 1:00 – 1:50

Outdoor Learning Area
