We want you all to have a fantastic summer! While you are relaxing and recharging, make sure your Chromebook stays safe and clean for the next school year. Please review this link to the RRISD Summer Technology Guide.
If your Chromebook gets lost, stolen, or accidentally damaged over the summer, let us know right away! Please contact either your campus ITS or our Help Desk @ 512-464-5167. Thank you for keeping our technology in great shape and ready for use in the 2026-2027 school year!

The last report card or withdrawal form from the prior school district (if available), and
The student’s Social Security Card (if available).

Brushy Creek Elementary is so excited to celebrate our graduating seniors! We will host the annual Senior Walk on Wednesday, May 20th from 7:45am - 8:45am. Seniors will walk the halls they once walked with much smaller feet. At the end, they will have the opportunity to sign the handprints they left behind as 5th graders. Congrats Seniors!

BCE is doing a Spooky Snack Drive! There is a need for snacks in ALL classrooms at BCE, so we are starting up a spooky competition to make it happen! Each biome (Tundra, Desert, Forest, Ocean) will be competing to see who can bring the MOST snacks. The biome with the most snacks donated will win a goodie bag filled with spooky glowing prizes. ALL the biomes can earn a giving badge that will hang proudly outside their classrooms. This competition will run from September 15th to October 3rd! iReady Lab will start this Monday, September 8th!
Any 1st-5th grade can come through the doors at 7am to work on their personalized iReady Pathway in the cafeteria. Students who choose to utilize this time will have the opportunity to get breakfast as they continue working until they are dismissed to their classrooms at 7:30am. An adult will be present to help any student who should need it.
On Mondays and Wednesdays, students will work on their Reading Pathway. Tuesdays and Thursdays, they will work on their Math Pathway. On Fridays, students can choose the Pathway they need to work on.
As we saw from our campus growth results from last year, the targeted, personalized instruction helps boost student growth alongside their classroom instruction. The same weekly goals apply - complete 45 minutes in each subject, which is approximately two lessons per subject with a score of 70% or above.
We hope to see your child there!
