Brushy Creek Elementary School My name is Claudia Ocampo. I’ve dedicated my whole adult life to working with children and families. Since I was 19 years old, I’ve worked inside the public school system in different forms. I’ve been a substitute, a teacher’s aide, a case manager, a teacher and a school counselor. I also have extensive training in Child Play Therapy and have my mental health license. That’s why, I think all my experience gives me a different approach on how to be a better advocate for you and your child. Encouraging and motivating students to reach their maximum potential is my life’s passion.
I was born and raised in California but have been calling Central Texas my home since 2003. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband Zack since 2000. We have two magnificent daughters who will be attending our school. This is my first year at Brushy Creek Elementary. And, I’m really excited to be part of this amazing group of people.
