International Children’s Day Festival

At BCE,  we like to celebrate and learn about all of the countries and cultures that make our school and world diverse, through a unique and annual traditional event called International Children’s Day (ICD). ICD is an all day festival event that takes place in the cafeteria on Friday, November 3rd. Parent volunteers from each class join together to assemble and host a booth representing an assigned country. Students  travel through the cafeteria engaging their senses to learn about and experience each country and getting their passport stamped at each booth they visit.

The school day begins with our ICD Parade.  Students dressed in native clothing from various countries outside the USA, will parade around the track.
