Brushy Creek Elementary School My name is Cynthia Griggs and I graduated from Texas State University in 2009. I was accepted into the Texas State Teacher Fellows Program for the 2010-2011 school year and graduated with an M.Ed in the summer of 2011. I’ve also completed the Heart of Texas Writing Project and the Bilingual and ESL Summer Institute at the University of Texas. I just recently completed the Principal Certification at Texas State. I’m proud to say that all of my educational experience has been in RRISD. I was a 3rd grade Teacher Fellow at Caldwell Heights as well as a 2nd, 3rd, and Texas State Teacher Mentor at Union Hill Elementary. Before accepting the assistant principal position at Brushy Creek, I was the Texas State Teacher Mentor at Pond Springs. I’m excited to be a BCE Blue Jay!
