Brushy Creek Elementary School In PE, Kinder and First Grade were working on overhand throw, underhand throw, and volleying through stations. We also focused on sharing space and equipment with others and using the equipment and space properly. The apps, Jitterbug and Balloon Pop provided a fun way for the students to throw at a target that was moving. The other two stations focused at throwing at a stationary target such as a low basketball hoop and tossing a beanbag into a basket. On a separate day, we used balloons to work on volleying and eye hand coordination. We also used Balloon Pop for the students to volley and throw at the moving target. They really enjoyed the stations and it kept them engaged for the entire 50 minutes.
